Born on September 20, 1982, in Leningrad.
From 1990, studied Hindi at school. From 2000 up to 2006, studied at St Petersburg State University, the Faculty of Oriental Studies, the Department of Indian Philology, the section of Indo-Aryan Philology. Graduated with excellent marks.
In December of 2006, started her doctoral studies at the St Petersburg Branch of the Institute of Oriental Studies (now the IOM RAS), the Dissertation is entitled The Male Character as Represented in Ancient Indian Epics [Образ Героя в древнеиндийском эпосе], supervised by Dr S.L. Neveleva.
October 2008 to December 2021, worked at the Department of Manuscripts and Documents, (from 2019) at the Serindica Laboratory (a junior researcher; researcher).
The 3rd International Academic Conference “The Written Heritage of the Orient” dedicated to the 140th anniversary of B.Ya. Vladimirtsov (1884–1931) will take place at the IOM RAS on April 22–24. The conference program is now available.
