Исследование и публикация]. Sаint Petersburg: Publishing House of the Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia, 2021. 280 p., il. ISBN 978-5-8064-3050-3

For the first time the author prepared for publication (in the Arabic language with Russian translation) the hagiographic tales on the miracle of St. Mary in Artrīb (Lower Egypt), on the beautiful and pious Israelite Ḥasana as well as the unique life of St. Gerasimus of Emessa and new Arabic Orthodox versions of the life of St. George and of the Tale about the Letter on Celebration of Sunday Fallen from the Heaven. The work is founded on the manuscript hagiographic collection of the Library of the Academia Romana in Bucharest B.A.R. Ms. Orientale 365; besides that the copies Arab. new series 91 and 266 of the Russian National Library and BnF Arab. 281 of the Bibliothèque nationale de France were used.

In this work its author revealed new peculiarities of post-Classical Arabic, defined specific features of the plot outlines and style of the edited hagiographic tales and demonstrated the Islamic cultural influence on their contents.

The present work contributes much in studying the written heritage of the Christian Arabs whose culture is now under threat of expiration.
