The Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences announced the results of the 2011 competition for the awards of the RAS to young scholars of the RAS, other academic institutions and organizations of Russia and students of the Russian universities.

In the field of literature and language the award was given to Dr Alexander V. Zorin for his monograph, At the Source of Tibetan Poetry. Buddhist Hymns in Tibetan Literature: 8th-14th Century [У истоков тибетской поэзии. Буддийские гимны в тибетской литературе VIII—XIV вв.].

The awards were given at the Presidum of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow, on April 3, 2012.
