Senior Researcher at the IOM RAS Candidate of Sciences (equiv. Ph.D.) - Philology
Born in 1966 in Yashkul, the Republic of Kalmykia, the USSR/Russian Federation.
In 1991 graduated from Leningrad State University, the group of Mongol-Tibetan philology.
In 1991-1993 worked at the Kalmykian Institute of Social Sciences.
In 1994 was admitted to the St Petersburg Branch of the Institute of Oriental Studies as a doctoral student. In 1999 defended the PhD dissertation entitled “Bodhicaryāvatāra” by Śāntideva in the Tibetan-Mongol Literary Tradition (supervised by Dr R.Krapivina).
In 1999-2001 worked at the Institute as a probationer researcher.
In 2001-2006 did not carry on any academic activity.
From 02.11.2006 up to present – junior researcher at the Institute of Oriental Manuscripts, a curator of the Tibetan collection kept at the Institute.
