On November 30, 2011, the meeting of the academic seminar Text in the Cultures of the Orient was held by the Council of Young Scholars at the IOM RAS. The issue of the meeting was Aims and Tasks of the Study of Texts of Eastern Literatures.

Eight young scholars and doctoral students presented their short accounts such as M.A. Redina, Dr S.Kh. Shomakhmadov, Dr V.P. Ivanov, Dr V.V. Shchepkin, D.A. Nosov, A.E. Terekhov, F.V. Kubasov, Dr A.V. Zorin.
