1957-1962 – Leningrad State University, the Department iof Asian anв African Studies, the Section of History of the Ancient Near East.

1962-1965 – the Institute of Oriental Studies, the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, Leningrad (now St.-Petersburg), doctoral student in Assyriology.
