The article describes a liturgical note in the Lectionary D 227 from the IOM RAS collection. The manuscript has an interesting variant reading: instead of the conjunction γαρ (for, because) we found the numeral νδ’ (fifty-four). It can be assumed that the variant is not only a scribal error. It is possible that the original manuscript was corrupt at this point and the scribe instead of the conjunction γαρ used the numeral νδ’ denoting the number of weeks of the liturgical year.
