The IOM RAS Academic Council will meet at 11:00 on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 (Green Hall).

Five presentations will be given on the topic of “Oriental studies: teachers and students”.

- Ioannesyan Y.A. Larisa Viktorovna Karskaya (1938–2003).
- Yemelyanov V.V. Rostislav Antonovich Gribov (1933–2001).
- Oranskaya T.I., Ostrovskaya E.P. Tatyana Yevgenyevna Katenina (1926–1987).
- Shomakhmadov S.K. Valeriy Isaevich Rudoy (1940–2009).
- Timofeyev V.S. Yakov Berkovich Gruntfest (1929–2018).

After these presentations, a traditional tea party with cakes will take place in the Green Hall.
