The 3rd All-Russia Young Scholars Conference «The Ancient and Medieval Middle East» will take place on February 19, 2026 in Saint Petersburg (Novo-Mikhailovsky Palace, Dvortsovaya emb., 18, 2nd floor). The conference is organized by the IOM RAS and the Institute of Asian and African Studies, HSE University (Saint Petersburg).

The Conference participants, 3rd-5th year students and master-level graduate students, will present their research in the following 3 sections: “Politics and trade in the Middle East”, “Religions of the Middle East” and “Culture and art of the Middle East”.

A panel discussion “Artificial intelligence in modern Oriental studies” will be organized as part of the conference.
