The Institute of Oriental Manuscripts RAS informs with deep sorrow that Lyubov Ivanovna Nikolayeva, a specialist in Arabic philology and researcher at the IOM RAS for 56 years (1957–2013), died at the age of 92. During her research career spanning more than half a century she was an experienced manuscript expert who made a significant contribution to the brief catalogue of Arabic manuscripts kept at the IOM RAS. She was also highly skillful in compiling indices for books of her colleagues.

Colleagues of L.I. Nikolayeva will cherish her memory in their hearts.
