May 15, 2025 is the 110th birthday anniversary of Lev Abramovich Berezniy [Лев Абрамович Березный] (1915–2005), Professor at the Department of the Far East Countries of the Saint Petersburg (Leningrad) State University, veteran of the Great Patriotic War.

On this occasion we publish the memoirs of his disciple, Sergey Yurievich Vradiy, Candidate of Sciences in History, Senior researcher at the Institute of History, Archaeology, and Ethnography of the Peoples of the Far East, FEB, RAS.
