The 2nd All-Russia conference of young orientalists “Army and military traditions of the Near East” will be held at the IOM RAS (November 21, 2024) and the Institute of Asian and African Studies at the HSE University-St Petersburg (November 22‒23, 2024).

38 presentations (10 thematic sessions) are planned in total.
In addition, the conference will feature 3 opening talks by invited speakers from Moscow and Saint Petersburg, a thematic cultural program for participants, a master class on medieval weapons, and a movie followed by discussion by on-site and online participants.
