K.L. Chizhikova has died Print E-mail

On April 11, 2020, ex-researcher of the Institute (1959-2009) Kseniya L. Chizhikova  died at the age of 87.

Kseniya L. Chizhikova published a number of papers on Bengali linguistics and co-authored “A Brief Catalogue of Indian Manuscripts Preserved in the Institute of Oriental Studies”.

For many years she worked as a secretary of the Director of the St. Petersburg Branch of the Institute of Oriental Studies, first E. I. Kychanov, later I. F. Popova.

The administration and researchers of the Institute of Oriental Manuscripts, RAS, bewail her death.
