On May 3, 2018, Dr. Prof. Ivan M. Steblin-Kamensky, one of the leading Russian scholar in Iranian studies , a well-known expert in the field of Iranian literature, history and culture, acadimician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, died at the age of 73.
