On April 6, 2018 a defence of the Habilitation Dissertation by Vladimir M. Zaporozhets was successfully held. The Dissertation is entitled The Role of the Seljuk Turks in Historical Processes in the Near and Middle East from the 11th to early 14 cc. [Роль тюрок-сельджуков в исторических процессах на Ближнем и Среднем Востоке в XI — начале XIV века].
