On November 25, 2010, Prof Dr Mikhail N. Bogoilyubov, a preeminent Iranologist, Academician of the RAS, died. He was the Deputy Chief of the Executive Secretary of the Department of Lilterature and Languages of the RAS, Honored Member of the Russian Geographic Society, Head of its Oriental Commission, member of the Academic Council of the Institute of Oriental Manuscripts RAS, Chief Editor of the Strany i narody Vostoka series, member of the Council of the Russian Foundation for Humanities |
