Dr Anna Chen, Paris, a well-known Sinologist, visited the St Petersburg Branch of the Institute of Oriental Studies, RAS. At the meeting of the Department of Far Eastern Studies she told about the system of Sinological and Orientalist education in France, its achievements and problems.
