In order of the President of the Russian Federation from June 30, 2005, Dr E.I.Kychanov received Honoured Medal for the 1000th Anniversary of Kazan. He was given the award by the mayor of the city of Kazan Mr K.Sh.Iskhakov on August 28, 2005.
