On February 15-19, 2010, at Wellcome Library, London, the Hebrew Manuscripts Week, course tutor Dr Sh.Yakerson, was held.

Wellcome Library, the largest medical library in Europe, traditionally organizes annual Oriental Manuscripts Weeks initiated by Dr. Nikolaj Serikoff, Lib.Dip.Asian Collections. The workshops are run by preeminent scholars, experts in different Oriental manuscript traditions.

In 2010, the Hebrew Manuscripts Week was held. The course tutor, Dr Sh.Yakerson, IOM RAS, introduced the audience to the basics of Hebrew paleography and codicology, and gave practical classes on reading mediaeval Hebrew cursive writings. The workshops were held at Wellcome Library and British Library.
