[Bibliotheca Buddhica XXV:] Indices verborum Sanscrit-Tibetan and Tibetan-Indices Verborum Sanscrit-Tibetan and Tibetan-Sanscrit to the Nyāyabindu of Dharmakīrti and the Nyāyabinduṭikā of Dharmottara / Compiled by E. Obermiller with a preface by Th. Stcherbatsky; from the edition of the Sanscrit and Tibetan texts by Th. Stcherbatsky. II. Tibetan-Sanskrit Index. Leningrad, USSR Academy of Sciences, 1928. 145 p.
This Index of words Tibetan-Sanskrit has been compiled according to the system, previously adopted by me in the Sanskrit-Tibetan Index. All the tenses and derivatives of verbs are, with their Sanskrit equivalents, placed under the corresponding crude forms, and their order is as follows: The tenses and derivatives from the crude form (stem) of the 1. present, 2. past, 3. future.
When a Tibetan verbal stem has several Sanscrit equivalents, the latter are marked by Arabic figures and placed in the (Sanskrit) alphabetical order.
A list of additional notes and corrections to the Sanskrit-Tibetan Index is appended at the end of this part.
The Annual IOM Academic Session “The Written Heritage of the Orient as the Basis for Classical Tradition of Oriental Studies” will be held on December 5–7, 2022.
