Born in 1940 in Leningrad.
In 1962, graduated from Leningrad State University, the Faculty of Oriental Studies, as an Arabist and Philologist.
From 1962 to 1977, an assistant researcher at the Leningrad Branch of the Institute of Oriental Studies. From 1977 to 1986, a junior researcher, from 1986 to 2003, a senior researcher, from 2008 up to present, an assistant researcher at the IOM.
In 1983, defended the PhD Dissertation, The People's Movements in Baghdad during the 10th through 12th Century [Народные движения в Багдаде X-XII вв.].
For many years (up to late 2005), the academic secretary of the Department of Near Eastern Studies.
At the moment, carries on her work on the translation of the treatise by Hilal al-Sabi', The Book of Viziers (Kitab al-wuzara).
