Attended Ankara University, Faculty of Languages and History-Geography; in 2018 received PhD degree in Turkish Language (PhD dissertation: A Tantric Text of the Old Uyghur Turkic Period: Sitātapatrādhāraṇī).
In 2010–2013, worked as a research assistant at Ankara University, Faculty of Languages and History-Geography; in 2013-2018 – a research assistant at Hacettepe University, Faculty of Letter. From 2018, a researcher at the Turfan Studies (Turfanforschung), Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities.
Research Interests: Manuscript Studies, Old Turkic, Old Uygur Studies, Buddhist Studies.
On April 25, 2018, at the meeting of the Council of Young Scholars at the IOM RAS, Dr V.V. Shchepkin will read a lecture The Experience of Studying the History of the Formation of the IOM RAS Japanese Collection.
