On May 4, 2023, Anastasia A. Kolosova, former researcher at the IOM RAS, has died after a long illness. She worked at the Department of Manuscripts and Documents, IOM RAS, from 2005 to 2008. She prepared a catalogue of Mongolian manuscripts, helped Dr. E.I. Kychanov in his work with Tangut materials. Also, she actively participated in the International Dunhuang Project (IDP), prepared exhibitions, worked as an interpreter during conferences and as a guide showing IOM RAS collections to visitors.

Anastasia was very hardworking, organized, responsible, and good at multitasking. She was always friendly and ready to help her colleagues. To us, her colleagues working then in the Manuscript Department, she seemed to have found her place in the Institute, but, unfortunately, she preferred to leave the Institute, move abroad and abandon research. Her colleagues will always remember her professionalism and friendly attitude.
