The exhibition "Homo Explorens. George Roerich" at the Roerich Family Museum and Institute Print E-mail

On October 7, 2016 an exhibition Homo Explorens. George Roerich will be opened at the Roerich family Museum and Institute.

The exhibition will feature the editions of research works of G. Roerich, memorial items and pieces of art that belonged to his family and artifacts that will acquaint the visitors with the subjects of his research. Among the last mentioned are manuscripts and xylographs in Tibetan, Mongolian and other oriental languages concerning his research and translation activities. The exhibition displays the objects from the collections of the Roerich Family Museum and Institute, the State Russian museum, the Institute of Oriental Manuscripts RAS, the State Museum of the History of Religion and the State Museum of Oriental Art.

The exhibition will be open to the public from October 7 until March 26, 2017.
