On April 19-20, 2013, the International Conference Cultural Heritage of the Mongols: Collections of Manuscripts and Archives at St Petersburg and Ulaanbaatar was held at the IOM RAS. The conference was supported by the President of Mongolia, Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj. The IOM RAS and the Institute of History of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences were the main organizers of the conference, the Government of Mongolia and the International Association for Mongolian Studies were its co-organizers.
