On October 5, 2011, at the Department of Central Asian and Southern Asian Studies, the PhD dissertations by D.A.Nosov, Narrative Structures in Mongolian Folk Tales [Структура повествования монгольской народной сказки], and E.V.Tanonova, The Female Character as Represented in Mahabharata and Telugu Epics [Образ героини в „Махабхарате“ и эпосе телугу], and the monograph by Dr Y.A.Petrosyan, Russian Historiography of the Ottoman Empire, 18th-19th century [Российская историография Османской империи (XVIII-XIX вв.)], will be discussed. |
