From July 14 to September 6, 2009, at the Kyoto National Museum, Japan, the exhibition On the Trail of Texts Along the Silk Road. Russian Expeditions Discoveries of Manuscripts in Central Asia, is being held. The exhibition presents 128 manuscripts in Chinese, Tangut, Old Uigur, Sogdian and other languages, from the mss colelction of the Institute of Oriental Manuscripts, RAS.
